With the latest update for the “New” Microsoft Teams app (v2), it appears that Microsoft, in its infinite wisdom, has removed the Teams button from the main user interface. The only way to bring it back is to adjust an obscure setting that appears to have nothing to do with the Teams button. Here’s how:

To fix, you must now go to … > Settings > Chats and channels and set your Viewing chats, teams, and channels to Separate.
