With the latest update for the “New” Microsoft Teams app (version 2), it appears that in its infinite wisdom, Microsoft has removed the Teams button from Microsoft Teams.

[The Fix]
To fix, you must now go to … > Settings > Chats and channels and set your Viewing chats, teams, and channels to Separate.
